Writing our own songs is as vital to us as the air we breathe … they come from the heart and our personal experiences as we grow together. Sometimes they just seem to come to us – Andy will often come up with an interesting chord progression – we’ll hit record and just see what words and melodies comes. Doesn’t always happen like that – some songs are the result of many hours of blood sweat and tears … but some do!
As a consequence we have quite a few of half finished ideas and it is the practicing and polishing them up to the standard that we want before we perform them live that takes the time.
